  • Truly, the religion with Allāh is ’Islām. [Al-Qurʼān, 3:19]
    Al-Qurʼān

    إِنَّ ٱلدِّينَ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلْإِسْلَٰمُ

    Truly, the religion with Allāh is ’Islām.
    [Al-Qurʼān, 3:19]

    निःसंदेह (वास्तविक) धर्म अल्लाह के पास इस्लाम ही है
    [अल-क़ुर्’आन, ३:१९]

  • And whoever seeks a religion other than ’Islām, it will never be accepted of him, and in the Hereafter he will be one of the losers. [Al-Qurʼān, 3:85]
    Al-Qurʼān

    وَمَن يَبْتَغِ غَيْرَ ٱلْإِسْلَٰمِ دِينًۭا فَلَن يُقْبَلَ مِنْهُ وَهُوَ فِى ٱلْءَاخِرَةِ مِنَ ٱلْخَٰسِرِينَ

    And whoever seeks a religion other than ’Islām, it will never be accepted of him, and in the Hereafter he will be one of the losers.

    और जो भी इस्लाम के सिवा (किसी और धर्म) को चाहेगा, तो उसे उससे कदापि स्वीकार नहीं किया जायेगा और वे प्रलोक में क्षतिग्रस्तों में होगा।
    [अल-क़ुर्’आन, ३:८५]

  • Verily, Allāh forgives not that partners should be set up with him in worship, but He forgives except that (anything else) to whom He pleases, and whoever sets up partners with Allāh in worship, he has indeed invented a tremendous sin. [Al-Qurʼān, 4:48]
    Al-Qurʼān

    إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يَغْفِرُ أَن يُشْرَكَ بِهِۦ وَيَغْفِرُ مَا دُونَ ذَٰلِكَ لِمَن يَشَآءُ ۚ وَمَن يُشْرِكْ بِٱللَّهِ فَقَدِ ٱفْتَرَىٰٓ إِثْمًا عَظِيمًا

    निःसंदेह अल्लाह ये नहीं क्षमा करेगा कि उसका साझी बनाया जाये और उसके सिवा जिसे चाहे, क्षमा कर देगा। जो अल्लाह का साझी बनाता है, तो उसने महा पाप गढ़ लिया।
    [अल-क़ुर्’आन, ४:४८]

Belief

We believe in Allāh and His Names and Attributes, as they were mentioned in the Book of Allāh (Qurʾān) and in the Sunnah of Messenger of Allāh (ṣallallāhu ʿalayhi wa sallam), without Taḥrīf (distortion), nor Tʾawīl (figurative interpretation), nor Tamthīl (making a likeness), nor Tashbīh (resemblance), nor Tʿaṭīl (denial).

Methodology

We love the Companions (raḍī Allāhu ʿanhum) of the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallallāhu ʿalayhi wa sallam), and we hate those who speak against them. We believe that to speak ill of them is to speak ill of the Religion, because they are the ones who conveyed it to us. And we love the Family of the Prophet (ṣallallāhu ʿalayhi wa sallam) with love that is permitted by the Sharīʿa. ʿImrān Ibn Ḥusayn (raḍī Allāhu ʿanhu) said, “O people! Learn the knowledge of the religion from us, if you do not do so, then you will certainly be misguided.” – Al-Kifāyah (p.15) of Al-Khaṭīb Al-Baghdādī
